Pain management

.Pain is one of the most common symptoms experienced by the cancer patients... In many cases, it has proven to be quite debilitating and affect their functional life. Untreated pain is one of the known reasons to deteriorate the quality of life of the patient.
We work with pain management specialists to extend their treatment at home for pain relief. Our team measures the intensity of pain on NRS scale to offer pain management intervention at home. Our approach is focused on bringing relief to the patients and improving their quality of life.

Other Symptom Management

Management of other physical symptoms such as Nausea, Vomiting, breathlessness, restlessness, lack of sleep, decreased appetite, constipation etc.
Also involves management of Anxiety, depression and distress, providing psychological, emotional and spiritual support for the patients and their caregivers.

Chemotherapy Symptom Management

Patient experiences various symptoms during chemotherapy management. The most common symptoms are tiredness/fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, tingling/ burning sensation in limbs, loss of appetite, sore mouth, weakness or numbness in the hands, feet, or both, loss of balance, shaking or trembling, headache, feeling clumsy, anaemia, infections etc. Our team members are available for chemotherapy symptom management at home setup and will coordinate the care with your primary oncologist at regular intervals.

Radiotherapy Symptom Management

Patient experiences various symptoms during radiotherapy management like Sore skin, tiredness, feeling sick, difficulty in swallowing, diarrhea, stiff joints and muscles, dry mouth, mouth and gum sores, stiffness in the jaw, nausea, lymphedema, tooth decay, shortness of breath, breast or nipple soreness, shoulder stiffness, radiation fibrosis etc. Our team members are available for radiotherapy symptom management at home setup and will coordinate the care with your primary oncologist at regular intervals.

Post-Surgery Care and Wound Management

Patient experiences various symptoms post-surgery like nausea, vomiting, sore throat (caused by the tube placed in the windpipe for breathing during surgery), soreness, pain & swelling around the incision site, restlessness, sleeplessness, thirst, constipation, gas (flatulence), bleeding, wound infection, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, lung problems, urinary retention etc. Our team members are available for post-surgery symptom management at home setup and will coordinate the care with your primary oncologist at regular intervals.

Bereavement Care

Bereavement care is an explicit aspect of holistic palliative care which extends to caring for those who are important to the patient. Bereavement care ensures that families and other significant members connected to the patients are supported from the time of diagnosis and in the time after the patient's death. We provide telephonic and home visit bereavement care.

Supportive care management

Given an option, most of the cancer patients want to take the supportive care management in their comfort of home set up. Being with the family and familiar settings gives them emotional support. Patient need not worry to visit hospital for procedures like IV hydration, Chemo-Port management, PICC line management, Ryles tube procedure, Foleys catheterization etc. Travelling and waiting period at hospital for such appointments is too tedious & tiring for them.
We offer supportive cancer care at patients residence so that the patients can continue to receive the specialist attention without having to be at the hospital.

Disease Management

We work closely with your primary doctor/oncologist and help you to continue with the treatment prescribed by them, monitor its complications and seek advice from your oncologist as and when required.

Palliative care Management

Palliative (pronounced pal-lee-uh-tiv) Care is a medical subspecialty provided by specially trained doctors to offer medical care for people who have life-limiting illness. Palliative Care relieves suffering and improves quality of life for people of any age, and at any stage of illness, whether that illness is curable, chronic or life threatening.
Palliative care can be provided to patients of any age & at any stage in a life-limiting illness. Palliative Care if provided early in the course of illness trajectory to facilitate good symptom control and improve Quality of Life makes the journey of illness experience positive. We have specialist palliative care physician to provide the care at home set up.

End of life care management

Patients with advanced illness and dying will be provided with the symptom control, comfort and support at home set-up and will ensure this phase of their life’s journey is peaceful and dignified.
